The Kuhn EL 162 power tillers fit in the middle range segment of Kuhn rotary tools with a horizontal axis. They are intended for tractors rated at up to 165 horsepower and are used for mixed farming and open field market gardening. As with all Kuhn implements intended for soil preparation, the EL 162 power tillers feature a particularly sturdy design. The EL 162 power tillers feature dependable gearboxes with reinforced drivelines, heavy-duty frame construction, larger diameter rotors, new hood profile and double articulated rear hood for improved tilling action. Quick change rotors are easily removed when exchanging rotors to match different soil conditions. This also simplifies tine replacement. The duplex gearbox allows for multiple rotor speeds to best match field conditions, providing the proper seedbed needed for your crop. Due to the perfectly regulated soil flow, the machine operates smoothly, providing reliability and long life.
